In just 15 to 2o years from now, Martin Cooper believes we will have wireless devices embedded in our bodies for diagnosing a curing illnesses. The power for these devices would come from our bodies. It all sounds a bit sci-fi to me, but who had any idea that cell phones would be as popular as they are today.

Cell phones have come a long way since the “brick” was first introduced. We now depend on them to get us through our busy daily lives.

I guess we will have to wait a couple of decades before we see if Mr. Cooper’s predictions come true. Things will be much different I know, but will people be ready to for wireless implants? We shall see.

From the article:

When Martin Cooper invented the cell phone 35 years ago, he envisioned a world with people so wedded to wireless connections that they would walk around with devices embedded in their bodies.
