Garmin Enters the Cell Phone Market
January 30th, 2008 | by lsfloyd |Garmin, known for its GPS devices and navigation software, wil soon be in the cell phone market. The Nuvi phone which features a 3.5 inch touch screen will center around its GPS capabilities using Garmin’s own OS. It will come preloaded with North American Maps with points of interest. It will also have Google Local Search integration, web browsing, and email capabilities. Carrier details have not been released yet.
