GPS Preferred Over Internet For Cell Phones

Research shows that consumers would prefer GPS on their next cell phone over internet service. The survey, which included 450 people across America, showed that 24% would like GPS on their next cell phone versus 19% wanting internet access.
I guess the need to know where we are and where we are going, exceeds the need to surf the net on our tiny screens. The popularity of GPS will help cell phone sales, but I do not think they will overtake Garmin or TomTom devices anytime soon.
