“It’s like chewing a piece of gum until all the flavor has gone out of it,” said Roger Entner, a senior vice president at IAG Research.
In order to stay on top in the cell phone industry, new and popular phone releases are a must. Motorola is experiencing a drop it their stock value as the demand for their phones decline. The Motorola Razr, which has been a hit since its 2004 introduction, is now nearing the end of its popular run. Designers for Motorola were slow to come out with a compelling replacement to keep consumers hooked.
Apple, with its iphone, showed wireless consumers things they did not know they could do with a cellphone. With the way the iphone raised the functionality bar, everyone will now demand more from new phone releases.
So now is the time Motorola, to roll out another slick design, highly funtional, multimedia packed, cell phone before its too late.
