T-Mobile to Engadget Mobile - Magenta is Ours

Ok, I have heard of companies claiming rights to words and images, but never a color. T-Mobile also uses gray in their logo, so does that mean no one can use that color either? Next thing you know they are going to want exclusive rights to the letter “T”.
