iBreath iPod Breathalyzer

David Steele Enterprises has introduced a product named the iBreath,  that could help reduce the number of drunk drivers on the road this holiday season.

The device plugs into the docking port of your ipod or iphone, and allows users to keep tabs on their blood alcohol level. Just fold out the blow wand and blow for 5 seconds — within 2 seconds you know if you are within the legal limit to drive.

The iBreath also doubles as an fm transmitter for playing your ipod music over any fm tuner. The iBreath can be purchased for 79.00 and comes with a 12v car plug for times when you don’t have your ipod.

First of all, I do not condone drinking and driving. I think designated drivers and taxi services  are always the best way to get home safely after the party.

Let’s just hope that holiday partygoers who use the iBreath, and find themselves over the limit, will hand their keys over to a sober buddy or call a cab.
